Jarlath Regan is an Irish comedian and writer who has been performing stand up for over ten years. He has performed all over the world from Melbourne to Montreal, as well as the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival where his ninth solo show, Organ Freeman, received wide critical acclaim from press and audiences alike.
A finalist in both the BBC and Channel 4 New Comedy Awards, Jarlath also took home the title of Man of the Year in Comedy in Irish Tatler’s Men of the Year Awards 2017. In addition to performing in front of sold-out audiences worldwide, Jarlath has starred on some of the nation’s favourite entertainment shows including Tonight at the Palladium, Russell Howard’s Good News and Stand Up Central to name a few.
Outside of stand-up, Jarlath is the creator and host of chart-topping podcast An Irishman Abroad which is streamed by more than a million listeners worldwide. He invites some of Ireland’s most famous exports to talk about their experiences in the UK, with past guests including the likes of Sir Bob Geldof, Dara O’Briain and the late Sir Terry Wogan. This year, Jarlath launched a new podcast series, Men Behaving Better, where he invites fellow comedians and celebrity guests to have the conversations nobody else is having.
