Global Mobility Outreach: Talent of Tomorrow

At FEM we are keen to reach beyond the commercial world and to give opportunities to young people just starting out in their careers and in higher education.

Since 2023, we have given a platform to students from the USA and Australia with the FEM UTD (The University of Texas at Dallas) Student Case Competitions at our Americas and EMEA Summits.

This year, we have invited Bright Centres to our EMEA Summit. Bright Centres is an educational outreach organisation that was established in 2006 by a group of young undergraduate students in London universities and young professionals. They wanted give something back to their communities and were motivated to start the centre to prevent the next generation from experiencing some of the difficulties they encountered while attempting to integrate in to mainstream UK school system.

Bright Centres strives to support, motivate and encourage young people to realise their full potential. As well as free advocacy services for vulnerable families, they give education and mentoring to students in alternate provision and after school clubs, with networks and partnerships between world-renowned companies and local people.

We invite you to hear about their work – to meet some of the young people whom they support – and to share some of your knowledge and experience. After a short talk from some of the supporters of Bright Centres, we will break into informal roundtables.

This is your chance to reflect on the myriad opportunities that global mobility has given you, and to perhaps ‘give something back’ by sharing some of your experiences with the coming generation.
