Globiana Inc

Elena Mosko is the CEO and Founder of Globiana Inc., a US-German company providing intercultural and expat support services for the global workforce. Multinational organizations partner with Globiana to support and train their cross-border assignees and business travelers, to develop their managers and international teams and to provide assimilation services to new military hires. Their product portfolio includes comprehensive intercultural support and coaching Cloud platform combined with expertise of over 450 trainers and coaches delivering workshops in 140 countries.

The story of Globiana started with Elena’s personal move across the globe, as an international graduate student. The challenges of adapting to the new country and culture and lack of effective support tools inspired her to work on improving the settling in process for other new arrivals. For over 20 years she continued her involvement in Silicon Valley international community by developing support and guidance programs for newcomers to the US. More recently as a consultant to Fortune 500 clients, she ran projects building and managing a variety of professional and educational online communities. In 2012, her vision of a high-touch cloud-based training solution supporting the mobile workforce produced Globiana.

Elena holds an international MBA from Babson College and Santa Clara University. She is a frequent speaker at American and European industry events, addressing the global mobility trends, Duty of Care, e-learning technologies and expat wellness topics. Elena calls Seattle, Washington, her home.

Outside of running Globiana she is acting as a chief life officer of her husband and three sons. She can also be found tending to her flock of urban chickens, managing their 14 acre River Ranch, or oil painting in her studio.
