Louise became a Partner in July 2019 and is based in the London office. Louise manages a large team of Associates, Paralegals and Coordinators providing UK immigration advice to a diverse portfolio of clients including major technology companies, law firms, financial and professional services organisations, mining, engineering, oil and SMEs. This includes advice on sponsorship and compliance, naturalization and all other UK immigration application. Her focus is UK inbound immigration, but Louise and her team also acts as a liaison point for her clients on multiple jurisdictions and EMEA strategies to ensure the smooth running of projects and individual applications. She has a deep understanding of global immigration programmes and regularly employs best practice strategies to ensure smooth transactional service delivery and identifying efficiencies and enhancements to ensure constant a best in class service is delivered.

Louise is part of Brexit Steering Committee and has been instrumental in delivering strategies and materials to ensure businesses were prepared for Brexit and for the new immigration regime and could articulate the issue as they relate to workforce planning. She has conducted regular sessions on change management to ensure that both employers and employees are prepared. She also advises companies on risk as it relates to immigration including the impact of COVID-19 and quarantines.

Louise contributes to the media (including Personnel Today), commenting on the impact of Brexit and the new immigration regime. She regularly invited to speak at external events including for CIPD, XPert HR, British American Business, Workable, London Chamber of Commerce, Solent and FEM and has delivered podcasts and guides in conjunction with them.

Louise regularly advises major corporate clients on right to work, compliance and best practices to ensure their obligations are met and works with them to ensure they have effective and smooth processes and reporting capability. She conducts regular training sessions on all aspects of UK immigration and right to work issues. She also advises on immigration issues arising out of mergers and acquisitions and changes to group structures. on their employees’ immigration status and relocation to the UK and the corresponding compliance issues.
