Philip began his career as a mobility tax advisor with PwC, joining American Express as Manager for Global Mobility Taxation in 2004.

Philip led the American Express Global Mobility Tax team, adding Global Employment Tax Governance, Strategy & Operations to his portfolio in 2014. Philip has developed a deep understanding of HR, Finance & Legal matters across employee & global mobility ecosystems supporting the development of Mobility, Business Travel and Flexible Working Policies and was a key member of the team who won the 2012 EMMA for “Best Mobility Program in the Financial Sector”.

Under his leadership the Employment Tax function at American Express migrated from Finance into HR in 2019. He subsequently led the transformation of the function, establishing a global operating model, developing and implementing new controls and processes in partnership with a single global tax vendor.

Philip has recently taken a career break and is now actively seeking a new opportunity within Mobility.
